VoIP Multi-Branch Networking

Businesses with multiple branches can connect them together with TalkSwitch, the most affordable PBX with VoIP networking for small business available on the market today. TalkSwitch improves communications, productivity and eliminates charges for branch-to-branch calls by using VoIP over broadband Internet access. TalkSwitch creates its own private multi-branch voice network.

TalkSwitch provides its own built-in SIP Registrar/Proxy server, allowing it to form its own multi-branch voice network. One location’s TalkSwitch is designated as the Registrar/Proxy site, and other TalkSwitch sites operate as User Agents. Each TalkSwitch site is assigned VoIP numbers on the network. From any branch office location, dialling a VoIP network number gives direct access to other office locations. TalkSwitch can also be networked with SIP-based voice gateways for sites with only one or two telephones, or for connection to other equipment. Suitable for up to 20 branch offices, or 256 VoIP network numbers, the offices can be located almost anywhere in the world.

Requirements: Each TalkSwitch must be configured with VoIP trunks. A broadband Internet connection and router with a 10baseT LAN port is required at each site. Routers must support Port Forwarding (a.k.a. Pin Holing). The use of routers with UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is recommended for ease of setup. A fixed IP Address for the Registrar location is recommended; alternatively, a public DNS service can be used. Contact your local dealer for: suitable Voice Gateways. Use of a VPN between offices may be recommended in some situations (see local dealer for details), and some jurisdictions may restrict the use of VoIP.
