TalkSwitch with VoIP SIP trunking provides connectivity to Internet telephony service providers (ITSP) over broadband Internet access, without additional telephone lines. TalkSwitch users can benefit from VoIP services for competitive calling rates, additional telephone numbers, and increase their calling handling capacity. As an integrated solution, TalkSwitch provides seamless connectivity to both VoIP services and the traditional telephone lines. Automatic route selection can be use to direct individual outgoing calls to the preferred service provider. TalkSwitch provides access to benefits of VoIP services while keeping control and administration of the office telephone system in the hands of the small business.

Requirements:
Subscription to a public VoIP service, a broadband Internet connection, such as cable or DSL, and a router with 10BaseT Ethernet LAN port and support for Port Forwarding (a.k.a. Pin Holing). The use of routers with UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is recommended for ease of setup. TalkSwitch can support service provider CLID, and DID number services. Some service providers may restrict the locations where service is provided, and use of public VoIP Internet telephony services may be restricted in some countries.
